My name is Sam Crowe and I graduated from Hanover College in May 2012 with a B.A. in International Studies and a regional focus of Africa. I am currently fulfilling a two year commitment to Teach for America as a second grade teacher in Brownsville, Brooklyn with the New York City Department of Education. While I am currently state-side, my heart rests (mostly) abroad.

This blog is a collection of posts from my time in Ghana during 2010 and Kenya during 2011, as well as some posts during my time at home. Currently, I am in the process of developing plans to found a non-profit education center or school in either Ghana or Kenya and I look forward to sharing this process with you via this blog.

Sometimes you may come across posts that are not my own, but yet they are on my blog; I do this because I believe they are relevant to my passions and will therefore interest you, the reader.

Always feel free to comment and share your emotions with me OR if you simply have a question.
